Job Description

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, drive engagement, and build a strong community around Chatter Social. You will work closely with our team to create compelling content, manage our social media channels, and analyze performance to ensure we are meeting our goals.  The ideal candidate is a user of social audio platforms, and has verifiable experience showing growth in social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content across all social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with our community.
  • Define and set key performance metrics for social media channels and campaigns, and create regular reports to track progress. 
  • Collaborate with teams to align social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Remain active and engaged with the Chatter Social community to find content opportunities.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with design to maintain brand guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with social media advertising and influencer marketing is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
