To connect a Rodecaster Pro to Chatter using an iPhone, follow these steps:
Equipment Needed:
- Rodecaster Pro
- iPhone with Chatter app installed
- TRRS cable (3.5mm to 3.5mm)
- Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (dongle)
Note: In addition, follow your Rodecaster Pro instructions to ensure your microphone is setup properly.
Steps to Connect:
- Connect the iPhone to the Dongle:
- Plug the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter (dongle) into your iPhone’s Lightning port.
- Connect the TRRS Cable:
- Plug one end of the TRRS cable into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the dongle.
- Plug the other end of the TRRS cable into the Rodecaster Pro's smartphone input (labeled with a smartphone icon).
- Set Up the Rodecaster Pro:
- Power on the Rodecaster Pro.
- Ensure the smartphone channel is selected and the volume is adjusted to an appropriate level.
- Optionally, adjust other audio settings on the Rodecaster Pro to optimize sound quality.
- Open Chatter:
- Launch the Chatter app on your iPhone.
