Child Safety Standards
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These are the child safety standards for Chatter Social, the app published by Chatter Social Inc. on Google Play and the App Store. They apply to everything on Chatter Social: live rooms, video, chat, direct messages, groups, profiles, Moments and any other place people share content.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Chatter Social strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This includes:
- Any sexual or sexualized content involving anyone under 18, including drawn, animated or AI generated content.
- Requesting, sharing, selling or linking to such content.
- Grooming: an adult building contact with a minor for a sexual purpose, including romantic or sexual messages, requests for private images, or moving the conversation to another app.
- Sextortion, trafficking or any other exploitation of a minor.
Any account that breaks this rule is permanently banned on the first violation, with no warning. The content is removed and preserved as the law requires.
How we enforce it
- Chatter Social is for people 13 and over.
- Our moderation team reviews reports of child safety concerns first, ahead of all other reports.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
- We comply with all applicable child safety laws.
How to report
- In the app: tap Report on any profile, room, message or Moment and choose the child safety reason.
- By email: support@chattersocial.io. Put "Child safety" in the subject line.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In the US you can also report to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org.
