You’re not just a user—you’re a co-creator of the Chatter experience.
Whether you’re hosting a live room, running a group, or exploring new communities:
We have zero tolerance for harassment, bullying, or targeting others through insults, threats, or malicious behavior.
The sharing of private or personally identifiable information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, financial info) without consent is strictly prohibited. This will result in an immediate permanent ban.
Explicit images, videos, or audio—including simulated acts—are not allowed anywhere on the platform. This includes revenge porn or any non-consensual content. Immediate bans apply.
Do not post or speak anything that discriminates, incites, or attacks others based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, nationality, age, or disability.
No using Chatter to sell, solicit, or discuss illegal products or services. This includes promoting scams, hacking, weapons, or drugs.
No bots, fake accounts, or misleading tactics to inflate group numbers, boost engagement, or disrupt rooms. Platform manipulation damages trust and will be penalized.
Don't pretend to be someone you’re not—whether a celebrity, brand, or user. Misrepresentation undermines community safety and authenticity.
Sharing content that is intentionally false, misleading, or dangerous—especially in areas like health, public safety, or elections—is not allowed.
Do not promote or glorify suicide or self-harm. If you or someone you know is in crisis, use in-app reporting tools to seek help.
Chatter does not allow threats, violent speech, glorification of terrorism, or graphic media involving violence or gore.
Do not submit deliberately false or misleading reports of abuse, harassment, or other violations. Misuse of our reporting tools compromises trust and diverts resources away from genuine issues. Repeated submission of false reports may result in suspension or permanent removal from Chatter.
We investigate all reports and take action quickly to preserve the integrity of our platform.
Use in-app tools to report any violations or concerning behavior. Our moderation team monitors content in real-time and reviews all reports with care. You can also access our Knowledge Base for safety tips and platform best practices.
Chatter thrives when people feel safe to speak, connect, and be themselves. That’s only possible when we each take responsibility for keeping our communities respectful and authentic.
Thanks for helping shape the future of social media—with your voice, your group, and your presence.
Let’s talk about it,
The Chatter Team.
