Rules and Restrictions

Abuse or Harassment

You may not share abusive content, engage in targeted harassment, or incite others to do so. You may not use names in room titles or posts in a manner that could harm an individual’s reputation, insult an individual, or otherwise be interpreted as malicious.

Doxxing

Doxxing is strictly prohibited. Doxxing is the sharing of personal or identifiable information about an individual or organization without their consent, often with malicious intent. This information includes, but is not limited to, personal addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, financial or employment information. This will result in an immediate ban.

‍Pornographic or Sexual Content

You may not share pornographic or sexual content under any circumstances, anywhere on the app. Pornographic or sexual content includes explicit sexual acts or nudity intended to cause sexual arousal or stimulation, such as images, videos, audio, or text that showcases erotic behavior or sexual activities. Additionally, sharing intimate photos or videos of someone, with or without their consent, commonly referred to as revenge porn, is strictly prohibited. This will result in an immediate ban.

Hate Speech

Hate speech refers to any form of expression that targets, denigrates, or vilifies individuals or groups based on inherent characteristics. Do not target, incite hatred or discriminate against people based on characteristics including, but not limited to, age, caste, disability, ethnicity, gender, health status, nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Illegal Activities

You may not use our services for illegal activities, including selling or buying illegal goods, services or regulated items.

False Reports

Do not submit false reports of abuse or misconduct or make improper use of our support services.

Misinformation

Do not intentionally share false information, spread misinformation, or promote manipulated media that could cause harm. This includes information that could manipulate elections or civic processes.

‍Platform Deception or Abuse

You may not use our services to artificially boost or suppress information or disrupt user experiences. This includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple accounts, using bots to inflate audiences, diminish information, or manipulating the platform to support such actions. Do not disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm the platform, the staff, and/or the services.

Impersonation

You may not impersonate another individual, celebrity, business or brand, or connect social media accounts that you do not own or have rights to.

Suicide

You may not promote or encourage suicide or self-harm.

Violent or Hateful Entities

Do not send threats, glorification, or encouragement of violence towards anyone, including the support or act of supporting terrorism, or known terror groups. Likewise, images or videos depicting extreme violence or gore are not permitted.

‍What to Expect upon Violating the Rules

Immediate and permanent ban will be enforced for doxxing, nudity and pornographic content.

Users who violate Chatter Community Guidelines can expect:

• Review Process: Our team will conduct a thorough investigation of reported violations. Users may appeal decisions by contacting our support team.
• Immediate Suspension: For serious violations, including doxxing, accounts will be immediately suspended pending a review. Repeat offenders may be considered for a permanent ban.
• Permanent Ban: Repeated or severe violations, including breaches of privacy and safety, doxxing or nudity, will result in a permanent ban from the platform.
