Teams
Put your team on the board
Ten friends and a captain is enough to get on the board, and there is no ceiling. Entering takes a minute and you do not need the app to do it. Every team plays through a group in Chatter, and that group's link is your team link: if you already have one, say so below and it counts from today. If you do not, making one takes about a minute and we will walk you through it.
Squads
10 to 29 people. A floor, a friend group, a small club.
Crews
30 to 79. A society, a team, a course year.
Houses
80 and up. A chapter, a hall, a whole org.
Your division is set by the roster you actually bring on the day entries close, not by the number you write here. Every division has its own title, and the champion's prize is the same across all three.
Your team is in.
Start posting your group link now. Every friend who joins through it is counted for you.
- Today. A confirmation lands in your inbox, and your link is already working. If the email does not arrive, check spam and mail us back.
- Friday 2 October. We confirm your division and put you on the board.
- Friday 16 October. Entries close and rosters are counted. The number we count that day sets your division.
- Monday 19 October, 8pm. Launch Night. Captains on stage, the board goes live at 8:35, first rooms at nine.
Now the part that takes two minutes, and it is the whole game: your team needs a group in Chatter, because the group's link is what your friends join through and what the board counts.
- Get the app and make an account. Same email is easiest.
- Make a group named for your team. Chatter gives it a link and a code straight away.
- Send us the code by replying to the confirmation email in your inbox. We put you on the board the same day.
No rush tonight. If we do not hear from you we will ask on Friday, and we will make the group with you if you would rather do it together. Nothing counts until the group exists, so the sooner it does, the longer your team has to bring people in before Launch Night on Monday 19 October.
